Vacaywork’s brief was to embed a map directly within their content, recommending places across India in context with each article. They had previously used different mapping tools, but without meaningful engagement or performance. Some of these tools also relied heavily on JavaScript, which slowed down their website and limited SEO performance.

They had previously used different mapping tools, but without meaningful engagement or performance. Some of these tools also relied heavily on JavaScript, which slowed down their website and limited SEO performance.
Vacaywork implemented Mapfirst using our embedded maps and Map-builder to customise the visual style, set the initial geographic focus, define the language, and select USD as the default currency. While users can still adjust these settings, the goal was to present a relevant, eye-catching experience aligned with the content. This approach turns maps into a revenue-generating layer through click-based monetisation and map advertising. To date, the integration is delivering above-average performance, with a 5.4% click-through rate since launch.
